Absolutely not, The Food Safety Act 1990 provides the framework for all food legislation in the United Kingdom. Your legal requirement is to ensure that you have taken all necessary steps to cook, prepare and serve food in a safe manner. The business owners are ultimately responsible for the conduct of their employees, to ensure compliance with the Food Safety Act, as it is vital that employees are given the correct training. There is no formal law or requirement for the training to be accredited.
